Part 1 — Terms of Use
Who we are
This website is operated by Hong Kio Muar Furniture (SSM 201203287494), trading as HK Furniture Muar and 红桥傢俬, with its cabinetry and construction arm trading as Creative Home Design & Construction, at 66-1, Jalan Bakri, Taman Orkid, 84000 Muar, Johor, Malaysia. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Hong Kio Muar Furniture.
What these terms cover
Part 1 applies to your use of this website. Part 2 sets out the terms on which we consult, measure, quote for, make and install cabinetry, aluminium windows and grilles, steel balustrades and car-porch structures, and sell furniture and bedding from our showroom. By using the website you accept Part 1; by asking us to visit, quote or supply, you accept Part 2.
Using the website
You may browse this website and use the contact routes on it to reach us. The photographs of finished work on this website are of our own installations and are our property. You may not copy, reproduce or reuse them, or the text on this website, for any purpose other than contacting us, without our written permission.
Information and images on the website
We keep the information on this website accurate and current, and we correct it when we find an error. The work shown is an example of what we make; what suits a particular room is decided when we measure it. Every photograph in the room-by-room section of the home page is work we installed, photographed at handover.
Quotations and prices
No price appears on this website. We quote each job individually, in writing, after we have measured, and only that written quotation describes the scope, price and terms of a particular job. Retail furniture and bedding are priced in the showroom. Nothing on this website is a quotation or an offer to supply at a particular price.
Contacting us through WhatsApp, telephone and email
The WhatsApp, telephone and email routes on this website are operated by third parties: Meta Platforms for WhatsApp, your telephone carrier, and your email provider. Their terms and privacy policies apply to anything you send through them, including any photograph or floor plan you send us. This website itself collects, stores and processes no personal information. It has no forms, sets no cookies, runs no scripts and uses no analytics.

Links to Google Maps, Facebook and Instagram are provided so you can find us and see more of our work. We are not responsible for the content or the practices of those websites.
Liability
We are not liable for any loss arising from your use of this website or from your reliance on general information on it. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Malaysian law that cannot lawfully be limited, including under the Consumer Protection Act 1999.

We may change this website and these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when the terms were last changed.

Part 2 — Service Terms
The consultation
You may message us, or come to the showroom, with a photograph or the floor plan of the rooms and a note of what you need and when you move in. We discuss the rooms, the layout, the materials and the door profiles. The consultation is free. A recommendation is advice to help you choose; it is not a quotation and does not commit either of us.
The measurement
Before we quote for cabinetry, windows, grilles, a balustrade or a car porch, we measure at the property at a time you choose. The measurement covers the rooms and openings you ask us to look at, on the day and in the condition we find them.
The quotation
After we have measured we give you a written quotation. It describes what we will make and install — the cabinetry, its material, door profile, colour and worktop, and which appliances are included; or the windows, grilles, balustrade or porch structure and their finish — the price, and the payment terms that apply to that job. The quotation is free. Only that quotation, once you accept it, forms the agreement for the work. Anything not listed in it is not included.
Scope and additional work
We carry out the work described in the accepted quotation. If, once work has started, we find that more is needed — a wall that will not take a fixing, an opening that differs from the plan, services that have to be moved before a cabinet can be fitted — we will tell you before doing anything about it and quote for it separately. Additional work is only carried out with your agreement.
What we need from you
Access to the property on the day of the measurement and the days of installation; the rooms cleared of loose items; and a contact who can make decisions about the job while we are on site.
Making and installing
We make the work to the design and measurements in the quotation and our own crew installs it on site. We protect the surrounding finishes while we work and leave the site clear when we leave.
Completion
When the installation is finished we walk it through with you. If anything in the agreed scope is incomplete, or is not as quoted, tell us then and we will put it right.
Furniture and bedding from the showroom
Furniture and bedding are sold from the showroom at the price and on the terms shown or stated there at the time of sale, and are collected from the showroom unless we agree delivery with you when you order. A receipt or invoice issued in the showroom records what was sold and on what terms; this website adds nothing to it.
After the work is finished

Photographs of our work
We photograph our own installations for our records and, from time to time, publish them on this website and on our Facebook and Instagram pages, as with the photographs already on this website. We do not publish your name or your address. If you would prefer that we do not photograph the work at your property, or do not publish photographs of it, tell us before installation and we will not.
Cancellation
You may cancel a consultation or a measurement at any time before it takes place, at no cost. If you wish to cancel after accepting a quotation, tell us as soon as possible; any material already ordered, cut or fabricated for your job, and any work already carried out, will be charged as set out in the quotation.
